My name is David, I'm 28 years old, I'm not perfect, but I'm aspiring to be ;) I've been told by quite a few people I look cute... but no, I don't have a six-pack, so if u can't get past that, move on...

Sure, looks are important, I won't lie. But I'm not an ass hole, you don't have to be perfect, I'm sure as hell not - everyone has flaws - and sometimes even that's sexy. I'm attracted to a person as a whole.

I'm successful, organized, smart, and witty. I prefer to think of my personality as adventurous, Easygoing, Low Maintenance, Practical, Procrastinator, Romantic, Stubborn, Quiet, Compulsive, Friendly/Kind, Self Confident, Serious/Responsible, and Unconventional/Free-Spirited.

...and I'm gay. This is something, I believe, that has had a major impact on my perception of life... Often confronted with prejudices of all kinds, one is forced to look beyond one's own prejudices. I feel that it is very "normal" to be gay. It's a very natural thing, which is not only occurring to humans, but in most species that exist. Gay people exist everywhere (although some individuals or cultures rather keep it hidden). As it is a reality that gay people are a minority, and that our society is based on the heterosexual model.

I live in the Queen city Charlotte, NC. I moved here in May 2004 from Orchard Park, New York where I graduated from Alfred State College with a bachelor's degree in Network Administration. I'm over going to clubs, but love hanging out with friends, traveling, going to parties, and anything new and exciting. I'm generally pretty quiet and introspective. A little shy at times, funny and outgoing at others. I'm pretty happy being single, but I'm not against settling into a relationship if I found myself with a guy I really click with.

What's David looking for in a boy?

Most of the guys I've been attracted to have exhibited many of the same qualities as myself: Independence, kindness, boyish charm and a good head on their shoulders. Beyond this, I go for muscular, financially stable, adventurous, playful, handsome guys, usually my age. Getting to know people takes time.

What's does David do for fun?

I've always been fascinated by technology. As a little kid, I was always taking apart household appliances to see how they worked. I enjoy good House music, and most other contemporary music. I like spending time with friends or someone I'm close with. Whether it's exploring new places, seeing a movie, going out for a couple of glasses of wine, working out, or just hanging out at home watching TV and cuddling. ;)

I have learned so much about what it means to truly be happy, and about what it means to be gay and I have a very good concept of what a real gay relationship can be... and what it can be is wonderful, and worthy of envy. I still don't feel like I've got a mission to complete or a war to wage against the anti-gay world, but I do feel like I've found my 'calling' I guess, and a responsibility to live in truth. You cannot go wrong by being true to yourself and those around you.
